The Embassy Suites by Hilton Sacramento overlooks the Sacramento River, near the Tower Bridge, Old Sacramento Waterfront District, and Golden 1 Center, making it an ideal venue for events. We are seeking a Catering & Event Manager to join our team at this beautiful hotel.

The Catering and Events Department manages contracted groups, social events, food and beverage services, meeting room revenues, and room block management, ensuring client satisfaction and revenue goals are met.

Position Statement

The Catering and Event Manager coordinates event documentation with Sales, hotel departments, and clients to ensure high-quality service throughout all event phases. Responsibilities include seamless turnover from sales to service, upselling to maximize revenue, and serving as the primary contact for event planners post-turnover.

Position Summary

Responsibilities include:

1. Organizing, planning, and prioritizing duties with clear goals.
2. Communicating promptly with clients via phone, email, or in person.
3. Building and maintaining client relationships to meet expectations.
4. Demonstrating proficiency in hotel systems, products, and processes.
