Catering and Event Manager - Embassy Suites by Hilton Sacramento Riverfront Promenade (Finance)

The beautiful Embassy Suites by Hilton Sacramento overlooks the Sacramento River, next to the iconic Tower Bridge. We're within a 10-minute walk of the Old Sacramento Waterfront District and events at the Golden 1 Center, making it the perfect spot to host events! The team is looking to add a Catering & Event Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work for a Hilton-managed hotel in beautiful Sacramento.

The Catering and Events Department manages contracted groups, social event food and beverage, meeting room revenues, and experiences, along with room block management and supplier service negotiations. The goal is to ensure event planner satisfaction while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Position Statement

As a Catering and Event Manager, you will be responsible for event documentation and coordination with Sales, hotel departments, and clients to ensure high-quality service throughout all event phases. You will facilitate a seamless transition from sales to service and back, recognize revenue opportunities through upselling, and serve as the primary contact for event planners post-turnover, overseeing their experience.

Position Summary

Responsibilities include:

Pay scale: $23 - $32/hr DOE
