Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Sawgrass, FL is seeking team members who excel in guest service and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We pride ourselves on 5 Diamond Certified Service and invite you to join our passionate team dedicated to superb hospitality.

Responsibilities include assisting with conference and catering coordination, handling inquiries, and ensuring accurate communication across departments. Training and safety programs are provided; weekend shifts are required.

Responsabilidades

• Answer telephone using proper etiquette and screen all calls.
• Take accurate, detailed messages and relay phone calls.
• Ensure group information is sent to the correct department on schedule.
• Complete assigned projects promptly and accurately.
• Be knowledgeable in procedures of finalizing programs and food functions.
• Offer assistance to callers and assist walk-ins.
• Prepare correspondence such as inquiry confirmations, letters, banquet event orders, and service agreements.
• All typed work will be proofread prior to submission.
• Perform and follow up on any other duties as assigned by Coordinators or Catering Director.

1. 1.Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays if required.
2. 2.Arrive to work on time, consistently.
3. 3.Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair.
4. 4.Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
5. 5.Attend all required training, safety courses, office and departmental meetings.
6. 6.Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
7. 7.Answer telephone using proper etiquette and screen all calls.
8. 8.Take accurate, detailed messages and relay phone calls.
9. 9.Insure that all information regarding each group is sent to the correct department on schedule in order to facilitate the proper handling of each group.
10. 10.Complete assigned projects promptly and accurately.
11. 11.To be knowledgeable in the procedures of finalizing programs and food functions.
12. 12.Offer assistance to people calling the office and assist walk-ins.
13. 13.Type such correspondence as; inquiry confirmations, introduction letters, banquet event orders, service agreements, and all other letters as directed by Conference/Catering Coordinators.
14. 14.All typed worked will be proof read prior to being given to the Conference/Catering Coordinators.
15. 15.Perform and follow up on any other duties as assigned, by Coordinators or Catering Director.
