Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Associate Merchant to lead merchandising for assigned categories and support the merchandise team with analytics, pricing, and assortment decisions.

You will develop sales and margin plans, manage open-to-buy, and negotiate with vendors to optimize category performance. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years in retail merchandising are required, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales and margin plans for assigned categories.

• Develop planograms and assortment recommendations.
• Review advertising/promotion analytics to refine plans.
• Support pricing strategies and exit plans for slow-moving items.
