Position Summary: Responsible for leading sourcing strategies for private-label and contract-manufactured chemical products in the USA and internationally within the construction industry. The role involves supplier management, negotiation, cost optimization, and ensuring product quality and supply reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage private-label vendors, develop sourcing strategies, lead negotiations, onboard new vendors, and ensure compliance.
• Oversee chemical contract manufacturers, identify and engage suitable partners, negotiate pricing, and support international formulation implementation.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and support cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or category management, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel 25-30%.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and sit for extended periods, and pass pre-employment physical.

This position can be remote but requires travel to Bethany, CT. The role is classified as Mid-Senior level, full-time, in the Wholesale Building Materials industry.
