Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Category Manager in the Adhesive Technologies Marketing team in the United States. You will lead strategic category management, focusing on portfolio health, pricing, and end-user solutions within roofing and building materials.

Expect collaboration with product management and global teams to accelerate time-to-market, drive growth, and maintain strong internal/customer relationships. A high-energy, accountable team player is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in Marketing, Product Management, Category Management or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Marketing/Category Management experience in building materials, roofing sector a plus

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage specific product categories to ensure portfolio health and P&L performance.
• Understand end-user needs and develop category solutions to improve workflows.
• Leverage market data and trends to uncover growth for the category.
• Coordinate with Product Management and Global teams to speed time-to-market.
• Build and maintain relationships with key departments.
• Align with Brand goals and customer initiatives for project requirements.
• Communicate openly with internal customers to stay responsive and flexible.

What you´ll do

• Responsible for the strategic management of specific product categories, ensuring portfolio health across key metrics including P&L.
• This role requires a strong understanding of end-user application needs and the ability to develop category solutions that enhance their work.
• Prior experience in the building materials industry, especially within the roofing sector, is a strong advantage.
• New Product Introduction & Pricing Assessing Competitive Landscape Partnering with Product Management & Global colleagues to improve speed to market Uncover new areas of growth for specific category using market data, industry trends and end-user insights
• Develop and maintain relationships with key departments.
• Maintain working knowledge of Brand goals & strategies and customers initiatives in order to quickly assess project requirements.
• Maintain an open and enthusiastic communication style with internal customers in order to facilitate strong dynamic of customer focus, flexibility, and responsiveness.
• Proactively look for opportunities to drive change and improve both process and project outcomes

What makes you a good fit

• 5 years experience in Marketing, Product Management, Category Management or related field
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Marketing/Category Management experience in the building materials industry, especially within the roofing sector, is a plus

Salary

The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 and $100,00.00 . This range represents the good-faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will based on such factors as the candidate's skills experience education training and work location.
