Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. is seeking a Head of Category Management to lead strategy and execution for Facilities and Project Management spend categories. You will shape procurement programs, collaborate with Global Procurement Data & Analytics, and guide senior leaders on savings and supplier strategy.

The role emphasizes business development, spend analytics, and cross-functional leadership. You will eventually build a team of Category Managers and drive continued program growth across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years in procurement category management or related roles.
• Experience in corporate or consulting environments.
• Experience presenting to executives or senior leadership.
• Certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M., PMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance a Preferred Supplier program for Facility and Project Management spend categories.
• Perform spend analyses to drive program goals and targets.
• Create accessible program materials via SharePoint/Power BI and intranet platforms.
• Lead business development activities involving supply chain management and client presentations.
• Negotiate and implement Master Agreements with suppliers and establish roadmaps with on-account teams.
• Hire, train, and develop Category Managers to support program expansion.
