Job summary

HARIBO of America, Inc. is seeking a Category Analyst to support category insights, data analysis, and account manager support across key retail channels. Located on-site at the Rosemont, IL corporate office, the role reports to the Sr. Manager, Category Management.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in data analytics or sales within the CPG industry, a bachelor’s degree, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to travel up to 20% nationwide with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in data and analytics or sales roles in consumer goods/cpg retail environment.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, Marketing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support HARIBO's Category strategy across retail channels.
• Collaborate with external Broker partners on distribution and shelf priorities.
• Utilize tools and dashboards to streamline reporting.
• Deliver proactive insights using syndicated data and shopper data.
• Create compelling category stories and line review presentations for major clients.
• Prepare monthly data reports and dashboards using Microsoft BI.
• Analyze data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Assist in creating PowerPoint decks to tell data-driven stories.
