Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking an Item/Data Specialist to maintain data integrity within SAP, validate vendor submissions, and manage item changes across systems. You’ll collaborate with Category Managers to ensure accurate data import and updates for new categories supporting growth initiatives.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of related experience, with strong Excel and SAP skills, and flexibility to work a schedule that supports multiple

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of related experience.
• 21+ years of age or older to drive for Company business per BGC policy.
• Experience with SAP data setup and vendor/item validation.
• Ability to maintain data integrity and adhere to company standards.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs mass item maintenance in collaboration with Category Managers.
• Maintains accurate updates across systems for new categories or sub-categories.
• Oversees and validates electronic files from vendors for data accuracy.
• Monitors site and tax code maintenance and updates to fiscal strategies.
• Facilitates deals and cost changes within SAP to optimize profitability.
• Supports validation of data files and communication with vendors.
