BIC World in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Category Analyst to support U.S. category development through data analysis, reporting, and execution tracking.

You will analyze syndicated data, support customer meetings, and help with promotional planning and pricing strategies. The role partners with the Category Development Manager in the Lighters category, requires 2–4 years in CPG analytics, strong Excel and PowerPoint, and offers base salary with bonus and a comprehensive benefits package in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field required.
• 2–4 years of experience in CPG analytics or category management.
• Experience with syndicated data platforms (NielsenIQ, Circana).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze category data and market trends for customer meetings.
• Support promotional planning, pricing analysis, and launch tracking.
• Maintain trackers and performance dashboards.
• Prepare analytical materials and data summaries for presentations.
• Monitor KPI reporting and ad hoc analyses.
