Tyson Foods is seeking a Catch Machine Operator to work in contract grower houses in the United States. You will install tooling, set parameters, and operate the catch machine to meet production goals while adhering to animal welfare guidelines.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the skill to perform physical tasks. You will follow safety procedures, participate in biosecurity measures, and document production activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. On-the-job training provided.
• 6 months prior work experience preferred for machine operation.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and animal welfare standards.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: install tooling and set parameters before production.
• Operate the catch machine per work orders and monitor performance.
• Quality control: inspect inputs/outputs following welfare guidelines.
• Maintenance: perform routine checks, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Troubleshooting: respond to alarms and defects; notify maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and biosecurity requirements.
