Job summary

The Filutowski Eye Institute is a privately owned practice in Central Florida seeking a BC/BE, Florida-licensed Cataract Surgeon to join our busy team with four ophthalmologists and a large staff. The role involves high-volume cataract surgery at multiple locations across Central Florida.

Ideal candidates have extensive cataract experience, strong clinical and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to travel between three offices.

Qualifications

• Be licensed to practice Ophthalmology in the State of Florida.
• Excellent surgical skills and/or high trainability.
• Superb clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to commute between three offices as necessary.
• Enthusiastic to learn and embrace new technologies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cataract surgeon performing 500+ cases a year.
• General Ophthalmology duties.
• Other clinical and surgical skills a plus.
• Flexible 4 or 5 day week schedules available.
• Work with robust support staff to provide efficient patient care.
