Job summary

USA DeBusk in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a field technician to work in oxygen-deficient environments in petrochemical plants and refineries. Duties include catalyst handling, equipment setup, and reactor maintenance with rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; pass safety training incl CPR/First Aid/ Emergency O2/AED/CS Rescue.
• 1 year in the petrochemical industry; 5 years in catalyst work preferred.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one; follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum catalyst or materials and load materials.
• Dismantle and install reactor hardware items.
• Clean/wipe/wash/scrape areas of the reactor or enclosure.
• Take samples of catalysts or materials.
• Video-tape specified areas of concern.
• Assist in removal or replacement of items from/into the reactor.
• Set up and dismantle unloading/reloading equipment; operate screeners and dust collectors.
