Job summary

The role requires rotating 12-hour shifts (days or nights) with every other weekend off, and prior laboratory experience is a plus. A high school diploma and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Laboratory experience in chemical or industrial plant settings; rotating shifts preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and understanding.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Stable work history with good references from past employers.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Military experience is a plus; following procedures is valued.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, process, and record batch details for catalyst concentrate per SOP.
• Conduct analytical tests on polymeric materials and catalysts; prepare samples as needed.
• Operate, maintain, and verify laboratory instruments; arrange external calibrations on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and safe lab area; perform general housekeeping.
• Prepare chemical solutions and polymer samples as directed.
• Maintain detailed, traceable documentation for all work/testing.
• Assemble data to assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues or process changes.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental rules; support Quality Management System processes.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures.
• Possibly take on additional duties to support site needs.
