Job summary

USA DeBusk is seeking a field-oriented technician to support confined-space entry in oxygen-deficient environments at our Salt Lake City area operations. You will participate in catalyst handling, cleaning, sampling, and equipment maintenance within petrochemical plants and refineries.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to company policies, with on-site duties including equipment operation, ground support, and detailed documentation of work performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; pass safety training courses including CPR/First Aid.
• 1 year in petrochemical industry; 5 years catalyst work preferred.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum catalyst or materials and load catalyst; shovel material to the outside of the reactor.
• Dismantle and/or install reactor hardware items.
• Clean, wipe, wash, scrape areas of the reactor or enclosure.
• Provide ground support during fieldwork; maintain a safe, clean workplace.
