Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Catalyst Development role to support the Engineering Development team in Fremont and San Jose, CA. This on-site position focuses on leading catalytic material qualification, testing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to advance fuel cell technologies.

The candidate should have a chemical engineering background with 0–3 years of experience, internships, hands-on lab work, and familiarity with GC, MS, and FTIR instruments.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in chemical engineering or related area.
• 0–3 years of experience, internship helpful.
• Hands-on laboratory experience and strong communication skills.
• Experience with gas analyzer equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge in catalyst development, process development or related topics.
• Strong problem-solving and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead catalytic material qualification and testing.
• Own implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of test systems and analyzer equipment.
• Collect, analyze and organize test data.
• Prepare and present status updates and in-depth data presentations.
• Organize and assist major catalyst projects and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on a regular basis.
