Center for Public Partnerships & Research is seeking a student hourly assistant in the library cataloging department. The position requires a regular schedule of 10–20 hours per week during standard daytime hours.
You will search and edit records in OCLC and Voyager, move books and materials, handle book trucks, and carry out tasks for the physical preparation of library materials, with other duties as assigned.
This student will work as an assistant in the library cataloging department. Applicants for this position must be able to work a regular schedule of 10-20 hours. Student duties may include: searching and editing records in OCLC and Voyager; moving books and other materials; moving book trucks; retrieving materials from the stacks; or tasks that are part of the physical preparation of library materials (such as attaching labels). Other duties as assigned.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
