Job description

Cataloging/Metadata Librarian

Fleet Library at RISD is currently seeking a Cataloging/Metadata Librarian to fill out an ILS migration project team and help us through the retirement of a longtime Technical Services librarian. Ideal candidates will excel at collaborative problem-solving, original and copy cataloging for highly unique collections, and data remediation / record enhancement.

This is a full-time faculty association (union) position with a term of two years (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2028) and a slightly accelerated hiring timeline.
