Indiana Historical Society in Indianapolis seeks a Cataloging & Archival Support Librarian to manage its integrated library catalog and catalog all material formats.
You will define policies, train staff, assist with reference duties at the William Henry Smith Memorial Library, and support accessioning, processing, preservation, metadata entry, and use of collections.

This position is primarily responsible for administering the Indiana Historical Society’s integrated library catalog system and for performing essential cataloging activities for all material formats.
Physical Movement – Stooping, Bending, Climbing, Kneeling, and Crouching in order to reach and pick up items
Strength – Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds
Manual Dexterity – Ability to handle fragile items with care

Master’s degree in Library Science with coursework in cataloging or 2 years equivalent work experience.
