Job summary

Charlotte Behavioral Health Care, Inc. in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a full-time clinician to provide individual, family and group therapy for adolescents and young adults aged 11-21 on the Children’s Community Action Team.

Services are delivered in home, school, community and office settings by a multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or related field, has at least two years of clinical experience with children/families,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, MFT or related field.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience with children/families.
• Must pass Level II Background clearance and drug screening.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and driving record.
• CBHC New Hire Orientation completed within first two months of employment.
• Licensure, certification, and CE requirements current.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family and group therapy for adolescents and young adults (11–21) with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Services delivered in home, school, community and office by a multi-disciplinary team.

Provides individual, family and group therapy for adolescents and young adults, ages 11-21 with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders on the Children’s Community Action Team serving Charlotte County.

Unique and individualized services are conducted in the home, school, community and the office by the multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
• Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record.
• CBHC New Hire Orientation (NHO) completed within first two (2) months of employment.
• Licensure, certification, registration are current including continuing education requirements.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in all driving conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
