Qualifications

• Passion for cats and animal welfare.
• Several years of experience in operations, volunteer coordination, customer service, nonprofit administration, hospitality, or related roles requiring strong organization and people management.
• Willingness to work weekends; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day shelter operations management.
• Coordinate adoptions, volunteer engagement, foster coordination, medical and behavioral care, facilities, fundraising, marketing, intake, technology, and inventory.
• Perform daily cat care tasks: feeding, cleaning, and equipment sanitation.
• Monitor cat health and behavior; communicate concerns to Shelter Manager.
• Screen adoption applicants and guide introductions with potential owners.
