Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist in Boynton Beach, Florida. You will provide patient-centered scanning services and ensure excellent customer care. The role includes working a full-time schedule of 36 hours per week, with shifts primarily on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients before exams for precautions or contradictions.
• Explain and prepare patients for scanning imaging procedures.
• Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures.
• Provide patient support during procedures.
• Adjust scanning parameters correctly and utilize dose reduction as appropriate.
• Accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).

This is a full time, 36 hour per week schedule, working Thursday and Friday 7a-7:30p and Saturday 8a-8p, this includes a generous shift differential AND weekend differential, and no on-call requirement!

Job Summary

Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide scanning services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.

• Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination
• Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures that will be performed
• Performs routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians
• Providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
• Adjusts scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate
• Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
