Job summary

Harnish Group Inc. in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Rental Technician to diagnose and repair Caterpillar, Allied and Genie aerial equipment. The role requires hands-on trouble shooting, planning and cost control across multiple projects, and the ability to work in both shop and field environments.

You'll use CAT diagnostic equipment, repair tooling, and maintain clear communication with colleagues and customers via internal software and service orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with CAT diagnostic equipment and CAT repair tooling is a plus.
• Ability to stand up to eight hours per day; shop or field flexibility.
• Experience with CAT products or dealership is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar, Allied and Genie aerial equipment, including removal and installation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems using CAT tools.
• Plan and organize work to control job costs across multiple projects.
• Investigate and identify problems to make corrective recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and complete work orders with internal software.
