Job summary

Ohio CAT is seeking an instructor to provide hands-on technical training for Caterpillar machines and systems in classroom and shop settings. The role includes occasional travel to Ohio CAT locations and training centers, plus supporting product support with technical knowledge.

A willingness to learn and grow new skills is essential. The position requires a technical background, strong communication, and the ability to develop presentations and laboratory exercises for student learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college/tech education a plus.
• Minimum of three years of experience related to construction or power equipment service/repair.
• Training or teaching experience in industry preferred (community college, vocational school, military, etc.).
• Instructor certification (Caterpillar or any discipline) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach technical material in classroom and shop environments.
• Develop presentations and laboratory exercises.
• Travel to Ohio CAT locations and training centers as needed.
• Support product support departments with technical insights.
