Wagner Equipment Co. in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy CAT equipment at customer sites or in the shop. The role requires strong hands-on skills and collaboration with service and sales teams to meet customer needs.

Pay rate ranges from $22.00 to $34.04 per hour, depending on education and experience. A comprehensive benefits package supports employee growth and stability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Relevant CAT related courses preferred.
• At least 3+ years servicing heavy equipment.
• 1+ years administrative/clerical experience.
• 3+ years customer service experience.
• 3+ years sales experience.

Responsabilités

• Completes CAT service reports daily with proper grammar and SIMS code.
• Transmits photos, timecards, service reports, and other information via e-mail.
• Maintains accurate customer records on assigned jobs.
• Keeps credit card receipts for accounting purposes.
• Works with Service, Product Support, and Sales to meet customer needs.
• Communicates diagnosis and status of repairs to customers.
• Teaches and coaches other technicians in the field.
• Promotes Wagner Equipment Co. to customers.
• Troubleshoots and repairs CAT equipment correctly the first time.
• Reads electrical and hydraulic schematics to support repairs.
• Safely rigs or hooks components for lifting.
• Removes, repairs, and installs major components.
• Maintains tooling per MSHA and OSHA regulations.
• Makes warranty repair determinations and communicates to dispatcher.
• Maintains service vehicle in safe and good repair.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
