Job summary

HOLT Group, based in North Dallas, seeks a CAT Compact Technician to maintain and repair Cat Compact equipment and related systems. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel components, perform disassembly and reassembly to manufacturer specs, and ensure safe, reliable operation for rental and customer equipment.

The role requires manual dexterity, the ability to read schematics, and the use of OEM scan tools and multi-meters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school preferred.
• 1 year of related skill/experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses Cat Compact equipment malfunctions.
• Disassembles and assembles components to manufacturer specifications using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Rebuilds, repairs, and maintains Cat Compact equipment and components.
• Maintains good customer relations and communicates customer needs to shop management.
• Plans and controls cost of repair jobs; completes parts orders and identifies parts for return.
• Updates job knowledge through training such as ProTech Technician Training Paths.
• Works safely and adheres to all safety policies and company procedures.
