Job summary

Turner Staffing Group is seeking a Haul Truck Driver for a direct placement in Charles Town, WV. You will operate CAT 730/740 articulated haul trucks on underground utility sites, focusing on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, daily logging, and coordinating with site teams. Willingness to operate skid steers and small loaders as needed. OSHA 10 preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating articulated haul trucks (CAT 730/740 or similar).
• OSHA 10 preferred and a valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with civil site earthmoving and underground utility environments.
• Commitment to daily pre-trip safety checks and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CAT 730/740 haul trucks to move soil, aggregate, backfill, and rock on underground utility sites.
• Occasionally operate skid steers and small wheel loaders for site staging and material movement.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs and load tallies.
• Coordinate with site superintendents, excavator operators, and pipe crews for efficient workflow.
