Job summary

Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) Evans Center seeks an evenings/weekend supervisor to cover when full-time staff are out and to assist with game days.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years experience (or an equivalent combination), CPR/First Aid, a valid driver’s license, and PA Act 15 clearances. Part-time schedule varies; duties range from event setup to supervising front desk, weight room, and lifeguard staff.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and tear-down for events during scheduled shift.
• Assist in solving potential problems during events.
• First responder in case of accident or incident; complete paperwork and inform designated individuals.
• Fill-in for game day staff as needed.
• Supervise front desk, weight room and lifeguard staff during shifts.
• Monitor facility usage and closing procedures.
• Enforce college policies and monitor check-in processes.
• Address conflicts professionally and constructively.
• Assist Director in developing policies and procedures.
• Manage daily staff and facility schedule during shifts.

• Responsible for set-up and tear-down for special and scheduled events during scheduled shift. - (Essential)

Pennsylvania Work Location Requirement: All work, teaching, meetings, and activities related to this position must be performed within the State of Pennsylvania. This position does not offer a remote work option.
