Job summary

Ebenezer is looking for an RN Educator to join our senior living team at the Ebenezer Corporate office in Edina, MN. This role provides training and education to employees, clients, family, and the general public, and supervises licensed and unlicensed nursing staff.

The RN Educator presents topics in large and small groups, serves as a subject matter expert, and collaborates with site leaders to advance ongoing education and compliance across sites.

Responsibilities

• Presents educational topics related to the health care industry in large and small group settings.
• Serves as subject matter expert in various areas of health care and education.
• Presents nursing topics at New Employee Orientation.
• Acts as Ebenezer representative for education/public speaking at Ebenezer sites.
• Speaks at general public events upon request.
• Demonstrates and teaches nursing department skills.
• Verifies learner competence of professional/paraprofessional skills.
• Collaborates with site leaders to bring ongoing education to the site level.
• Provides onsite supervision of nursing team members upon request.
• Makes recommendations for additional staff learning opportunities.
• Participates in research and development of presentations reflecting regulatory compliance and best practice.
• Participates in special projects as assigned.
