Job summary

Ridgeview Rehab in Waconia, MN is seeking a casual Physical Therapist to join a dynamic multi-disciplinary acute care team. The role focuses on orthopedic, ICU/telemetry, neurology, and general medicine/surgery care within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatment, and collaboration with the care team. Weekend commitments are expected as core staff with potential for additional shifts. CPR and MN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with Minnesota license.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently and organize tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends monthly.
• Strong communication within a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, documents care, and discharges client cases according to standards.
• Provides current and quality treatment using Ridgeview resources to promote continued quality care.
• Communicates with patients, health care providers, insurer and others to ensure needs are addressed.
• Exhibits knowledge of hours of operation, patient base, department operations, visit procedures, and chart audit procedures.
• Understands reimbursement and regulatory guidelines for care and environment.
• Provides supervision of PTAs, aides, students and volunteers when physical therapy is provided.
• Provides professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
