Job summary

Target Optical is seeking an Optometrist to lead the patient experience and deliver high-quality eye care. You will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and recommend treatment while ensuring exemplary patient service and outcomes.

You will also train staff, uphold clinic standards, and contribute to achieving performance targets in a collaborative environment within EssilorLuxottica’s Eyecare division.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry is required.
• Proven ability to deliver results through people and processes.
• Knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology.
• Familiarity with operations, processes and business implications.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality Optometric care and manage key steps of the eye exam.
• Establish positive Doctor/Patient relationships and communicate with staff for a seamless patient experience.
• Lead on-the-job training and guidance to team members using company programs.
• Drive patient satisfaction, exam growth and other performance indicators.
• Promote Safe Work Practices and maintain a positive office culture.
