• Possesses and maintains BLS certification to meet department/program protocol.

Responsibilities

• Assumes full responsibility for evaluating patients' need for occupational therapy.
• Plans and executes individual treatment programs in accordance with the state of Michigan licensure and OT scope of practice.
• Documents patient's status and progress through initial evaluation, progress notes, and discharge summary.
• Communicates with others to integrate occupational therapy treatment with all aspects of patient care.
• Participates in program development and/or research activities.
