This position is limited to 14 or fewer hours of work each week. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities occasionally needs to hire employees on a Casual basis throughout the year. These positions perform a variety of nonacademic and/or academic work responsibilities in a Casual work schedule. This does not constitute a posting for vacancies, but establishes a pool of applicants should openings occur during the 2026-2027 fiscal year (July - June). Applicants will be selected from this pool on an as‑needed basis. Appointments are based on need, funding, and performance. At the discretion of the supervisor, H-1B sponsorship may be provided to those who currently hold a valid visa and are present in the United States.
Pay Range: $15.25 - $120.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
