Concordia at Bethlen is hiring a Casual Night Shift Certified Medication Technician for the Personal Care unit in Ligonier, PA. This role offers on-demand pay and opportunities to contribute to high-quality elder care within a faith-based nonprofit community.

Qualified candidates will have Med Tech certification (Concordia will certify you) and at least 1 year of Med Tech experience. We provide Direct Care Certification and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Med Tech Certification required; Concordia will certify you.
• 1+ year Med Tech experience preferred.
• Direct Care Certification provided by us.
• Prepare, administer, and document all medications.
• Supervise staff to ensure timely care and correct documentation.
• Provide direct resident care under supervision of a Licensed Nurse.
• Deliver treatments as prescribed.
• Respond to call bells promptly and communicate observations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, administering and documenting all medications.
• Supervising other staff to ensure care and documentation is completed accurately and timely.
• Providing direct care to residents under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse and/or Personal Care Home Administrator.
• Providing treatments as prescribed.
• Answering call bells and responding to resident needs promptly.
• Communicating observations and findings to the Charge Nurse.
• Maintaining personal health to prevent transmission of infections.
