Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist specializing in Mammography for outpatient clinic work in Minnesota. The role emphasizes patient interaction, accurate imaging, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Required ARRT Mammography certification within 1 year of hire or active registration, with BLS either via AHA/Red Cross or in-house training. Work is casual (0.0 FTE) with day/evening shifts and no weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Training graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders, regulatory requirements and department guidelines.
• May perform rooming of patients.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers.
• Documents all needed aspects of the procedure.
• Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs.
• Maintains safe patient environment in procedure area.
• May perform dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scans.
• May perform general radiology imaging.
