Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Part-Time Casual Forklift Operator for our Fontana, CA service center. You will move various freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long and operate a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock.

The role supports our busy operations with a reliable, accurate approach to material handling. Hours are overnight on Saturdays 2am–10am and Sundays 10pm–6am, with PTO accruing after 90 calendar days and a strong benefits package including

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop.
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part Time Casual Forklift Operator at our Fontana, CA service center. As a Part Time Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
