Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking casual Certified Nurse Midwives to join our Midwifery Practice within the Fairview Health Medical Group. We provide lifelong care from pregnancy through lactation and beyond, with involvement in community education and education programs.

Casual CNMs help cover hospital calls and clinic visits across multiple locations. Qualified candidates will have CNM credentials, MN APRN license eligibility, ACNM certification, and at least 3 years of full-scope midwifery

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited nursing school and CNM program.
• Current MN APRN license or eligibility with MN Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges.
• ACNM certification is required.
• Credentialing and privileges eligibility.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-scope midwifery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital call and clinic coverage as needed.
• Deliver lifelong care in pregnancy, birth, lactation and beyond.
• Participate in community education and rotation programs as arranged.

Education

Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) credentials and Minnesota APRN license
