Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam using diverse methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish and portion food according to established guidelines.
• Properly store food by following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adhere to safety policies including sanitation and asset security.
