Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a Radiographer Interpreter to evaluate radiographs of castings, determine acceptability, and sign final reports for customer specifications. You will review technique cards, assess image quality, and document results.

You will interpret discontinuities, determine causes, and coordinate repairs with engineering as needed, while ensuring compliance with PCC standards and report accuracy.

Qualifications

• Advanced radiographer skills demonstrated by years of work in radiography A duties.
• Must have Level 2 certification and pass certification requirements.
• Ability to navigate Windows-based systems and communicate issues to MIS.

Responsibilities

• Review radiographs to determine casting/welding discontinuities and acceptability.
• Interpret and identify surface and subsurface discontinuities per specs.
• Sign and stamp reports for acceptance of parts.
• Provide training and direction to less experienced personnel.
