Qualifications

• Follow instructions, read, and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to work independently with focus and accuracy.

• Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing 30–75 pounds.
• Work in conditions such as noise, dust, temperature extremes, and awkward positions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect all castings for defects using boroscopes, mirrors, and hand tools.
• Verify alloy composition with spectral analyzer and review results.
• Route parts for processing after inspection.
• Document defects and process control issues for analysis by engineering.
• Coordinate with engineering and process-control teams to resolve problems.
