Job summary

Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Casting Front, Middle, Back Rotation Lead to oversee casting operations across multiple lines.

You will work within the Casting department, report to the Casting Supervisor, and contribute to safety, quality, and on-time production. This Full-Time role requires experience in operating casting processes, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with supervisors to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in safety regulations, quality control processes specific to the Casting department.
• Able to Operate casting lines.
• Able to Complete melt process on 4 pots.
• Able to Run Furnace Operation.
• Able to Drive Transfer pot Operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations in the manufacturing of an aluminum knuckle for automobiles on NDK equipment across production lines.
• Cross-trained after initial training to cover multiple steps of the process.
• Use hand tools and basic shop equipment to maintain production efficiency and quality.
• Monitor production quantities and quality, and check parts for production readiness.
• Provide daily updates to the Casting Supervisor and contribute to data-driven reporting.
