Charter Casting Wisconsin is launching a structured Materials Engineering Rotational Program designed to develop future engineering leaders. It offers hands-on experience across casting operations with rotations in Process Engineering, Technical Services/Commercial, and a start date in January 2027.

We seek December 2026 graduates in Materials Science & Engineering with internship or co-op experience and a passion for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering.
• Graduation date December 2026.
• Internship, co-op or related engineering work experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and communicate ideas effectively.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong technical and operational foundation across manufacturing operations.
• Participate in shop-floor immersion to understand production processes and equipment.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Gain exposure to automation, controls and digital manufacturing technologies.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to improve performance.
