Qualifications

• Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job.
• Shall adhere to safety requirements and work instructions.
• Shall receive daily work assignments from supervisor or lead person.
• Visual inspection and deburring to maintain cosmetic appearance.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect castings and remove or blend burrs, flash, or excess metal.
• Mark weld areas and move castings to welding area when needed, then blend welds and finish.
• Remove gate stubs carefully to maintain dimensions and appearance.
• Maintain batch integrity and keep records and vouchers clean and orderly.
• Attend hazardous material/waste handling classes and lockout/tagout training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
