Job summary

Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. is seeking a Casting Technical Support professional in the Casting Engineering Maintenance department.

This full-time role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and setup/changeovers to keep casting equipment running smoothly. You will document activities, follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout, and work with Quality and Production teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with equipment maintenance or similar role.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on casting equipment following schedules and checklists.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor and Engineering to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Record maintenance activities, parts used, and downtime for logs and analysis.
• Support equipment setup and changeovers for casting molds.
