Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Caster for our 2nd Shift Casting, Large Box department. You will prepare and dress molds, fill and demold polymer concrete castings, and operate an overhead crane and hand tools.

We offer a starting wage of $20.50 per hour with a 10% shift premium for all 2nd shift hours, plus a $1,000 retention bonus after 90 days and health care benefits beginning the first month of employment.

Caster - CC1 - 2nd Shift- Chatsworth, CA

Hubbell is seeking a Caster for our 2nd Shift Casting, Large Box department department in the Chatsworth, CA facility and to be part of a growing, dynamic, and diverse team during a time of growth. Production casters will work with polymer concrete casted enclosures of various sizes by preparing and dressing molds, filling and demolding parts using an overhead crane and various hand tools. Pay will begin at $20.50 with a 10% shift premium for all hours worked in the 2nd shift. In addition, as a newly hired employee, you will be eligible to receive a $1000 retention bonus after the 90th day with Hubbell. Health care benefits start on the first of the month following your hire date.

• Follow Company safety and break policies, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to area Supervisor.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• Heavy manufacturing or construction experience preferred


• High school diploma preferred but not required.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work in a fast paced environment with repetitive motion, clutch, lift, grab, bend, stoop, push and pull with no difficulties, be on feet during work shift, and clearly communicate issues.
