Hydro is seeking a Cast House Process Engineer in the Phoenix area to optimize aluminum melting, alloying, casting, and related manufacturing processes. The role emphasizes safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations with a focus on metal recovery, product quality, and equipment reliability.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and HSE teams to identify improvement opportunities, troubleshoot challenges, reduce scrap, and implement sustainable
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
- 3–5 years of process/manufacturing engineering experience in industrial environment.
- English required; Spanish a plus.
Responsabilidades
- Identify root causes from process data and implement sustainable improvements.
- Optimize aluminum melting, alloying, casting and related processes.
- Monitor furnace temps, melt rates, cycle times, and metal chemistry to drive performance.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and process control parameters.
- Support new alloys, equipment improvements and process automation.
