Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the state of practice; CCC or CFY eligibility; BLS certification.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Proficiency with computer software in automated patient care settings.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with speech and language disorders.
• Plan and carry out treatment programs and document care.
• Educate patients and families; provide home programs with instructions.
• Document treatment per professional and regulatory standards.
• Train staff and students as part of ongoing rehab education.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary health care team to meet patient needs.
