Job summary

Community Health Center of Central Wyoming in Casper, WY seeks a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Quick Care unit on a PRN basis. You will evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses in a fast-paced outpatient setting, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and support staff.

This position requires licensure in Wyoming and DEA registration, with prior Urgent Care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Wyoming licensure and DEA registration required.
• Ability to perform a range of primary care services in a clinic setting.
• Urgent Care experience is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with staff and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and support personnel to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide care in an outpatient clinic and travel to other rural health sites as needed.
• Deliver patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism.
• Demonstrate clinic skills required for primary care services.
