Banner Health in Mesa Walk In Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced setting. You will room patients, take vitals, answer questions, and stock care areas while upholding patient safety and quality of care.

The role is part-time with 2–12 hour shifts weekly, from 7:45am to 8:15pm, and the clinic operates daily. Banner Health offers onboarding and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program as defined by state regulations.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification is required. BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam by taking and recording vital signs and symptoms.
• Assists providers with exams and minor in-office procedures.
• Coordinates and manages patient care including referrals and scheduling.
• Provides clerical support and ensures accurate billing information.
• Maintains a clean, safe clinical environment.
