Job summary

Choctaw Casinos & Resorts in Durant, OK is seeking a Vault Clerk to work in the Casino Vault, reporting to the Vault Supervisor or Vault Manager.

You will handle cash transactions, issue banks and draws to cashiers and tellers, maintain security and accuracy of records, and assist with vault equipment including ATMs and kiosks.

This full-time on-site position requires ten-key proficiency, basic math, and prior cash handling experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and cashiering preferred.
• Ten-key by touch proficiency required.
• Basic math skills necessary for balancing.
• Ability to use common computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer authorized inquiries regarding general vault procedures.
• Issue "banks" and "draw" to cashiers and tellers.
• Keep all monetary dispensers full and functioning.
• Issue checks from Vault as requested by the Casino General Manager.
• Help with work areas as designated by management.
• Maintain records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transactions; operate ATMs, kiosks, recyclers, and Dyna Cash machines.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Start Rate: $17.00/hour | Full-Time | Various Shifts

Job Purpose or Objective(s):

As the Vault Clerk, you will work within the Casino Vault. You will report to the Vault Supervisor or Vault Manager.

Primary Tasks

• You will answer authorized inquiries regarding general vault procedures.
• Issue "banks" and "draw" to cashiers and tellers.
• Keep all monetary dispensers full and functioning.
• Issue checks from Vault as requested by the Casino General Manager.
• Help with work areas as designated by management.
• You will keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transactions reconciliations and fill/maintain ATM's, Kiosks, Recycler, and Dyna Cash Machines.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

• Ten-key proficiency (By Touch)
• Use computers to enter, access, or retrieve data.
• Basic math skills
• General computer skills required
• One (1) year experience in cash handling, cashiering, teller, and bank experience preferred.
